I agree with all the commentators below rating it 5 star. I've been using it since at least 1992 and selecting the options that will allow it to work can be challenging. However it's worth it. It's the only calendar program that I can find that goes to a file or loads a link when the date occurs. But like me, I suspect the author is getting on in years and perhaps finds all the unnecessary bells, whistles and so called improvements that keep 'enhancing' Windows now 11 to be a bit too much to keep up with and perhaps has given up. Can't blame him/her but it's very sad
Love WinDates. Have used it for 20 years now. It follows my KISS rule (Keep it Simple Stupid). No every 6-month update, etc. etc. I've even learned how to easily export my HUGE file since 2004 and then import it into Google Calendar which I do about every 2 weeks. Takes a little bit of time (about 10 minutes), but well worth it.
I love my registered WinDates, which I have been using for many years. This morning it just refused to load. Hoping the link becomes available again soon so I can reinstall.
Jan, I just copied my WinDates folder from my Surface Pro 6 over to my SP8 and pasted it, I made a shortcut to my desktop and opened it reregistered it and it works great.
So you shouldn't need the install file to get it going.
